About Us

Classes

Tuesday Evenings: 6.30pm-8.30pm

Saturday* mornings: 10.30am-11.30am

* for special educational needs (SEN)

We are a group of people, all inclusive,  who are interested in sewing and dressmaking.

First time visitors come along to the ABC sewing group and they are so

excited to learn the skill of using a sewing machine.

Members are shown how to thread up a sewing machine, make a

paper pattern for a garment to fit them and understand

pattern instructions.

"Wow, I can make clothes to fit me" is a comment often heard.

Sewers are guided every step of the way in making a designer

wear garment to fit them, led by Rosey Rees and her team

of super sewing helpers.

The ABC Sewing group aims to tackle the problems of social isolation, to improve self-esteem and to learn and improve their sewing and dressmaking skills.

The group has been meeting regularly for over Ten years.

£2.50 per session per person.  Expert or new sewing abilities welcome.

For more information contact Rosey on 07396795488.
